DAY 6- Working out on SAT. Who does that?


I do that!!!! Cant believe I actually got up and worked out. Don't get me wrong, I did not want to get up. But I knew you all were counting on me :) So I got up, laced up my shoes and pushed play.
I'll admit the first round of the warm up I think I was still asleep. But I soon felt the surge of energy go through me and there was No stopping me. I felt Amazing!
I think my daughter (Natie) thought I must have lost my mind, I was talking to my weaker self. Motivating her(me) and keeping her(me) from stopping. At one point I got mad and yelled at the weak Alyssa. Ha, I'm laughing now thinking of how ridiculous I must have sounded!
Well, All I can say is that day six is done and I think I pushed myself harder today than any day so far. I feel GREAT!
Just a side note, I dont see a physical difference yet, but I do feel a sense of accomplishment and that's all that really matters at this point. Tomorrow is my OFF DAY!

day 5- pure Cardio


Woke up with that light empty feeling! love that feeling
had my insanity approved breakfast which consisted of ww toast and 6 banana slices and lowfat cottage cheese.( how long will I be able to eat this day after day? I DONT KNOW.)
Today was something called pure cardio. It was crazy hard! No kidding. For those of you who have ever taken a boot camp class, well this 39 min workout makes that class seem like a walk in the park.
He only gives you like one water break through the whole thing. Believe you me, i NEEDED breathing breaks. Cant even remember how many times I had to stop to catch my breath.
Im finally feeling some soreness in my abs! But not enough.






Here are a couple of shots of me attempting some of these moves.Hopefully I will be able to successfully to do these moves with correct form and without stopping in the next couple of weeks.
Tomorrow is Saturday and still have to workout. This is 6 days a week! I'll workout, but not sure I'll be as good with the eating tomorrow? We'll see.........

here is my lunch for today, wasn't the best, but not as bad as I would have thought. If I would have been able to add some salt, it would have tasted great. But it was really bland. oooo, maybe some salsa would have done the trick. There's always tomorrow. joy!

day 4 and starving......

Ok so I last night after dinner( my one ww tortilla with chicken) i felt good. Helped the girls get ready for bed and did some motherly chores and then my stomach started talking to me. Not good, I look at the clock and its only 6:50. So I did the only thing I could think of...put my self to bed early. No joke I was in bed with my phone and remote by 7pm.
Wake up this morning my stomach still talking to me and I cant move my legs or arms! they feel like so cinder blockes . How am I going to workout, my importantly how am I going to get down stairs to EAT!!
I manage to make my 2eggs and 2 egg white omlet (not to bad) and ww toast.
9 am time to workout- TO my Suprise it a recovery day!!!! YAY! Nice and slow and easy.
NOT!
Yes, it was slow, but there was NOTHING easy about it. lots of holding and pulsing while doing squats and lunges. And that YOGA stuff (I have never been a fan of it) it just wont go away. Must be beacuse it works, guess I have to just push through it. Yoga HURTS.
Today was one of the easiest day so far, but still enough to make me sweat.
Now to decide on if I want to invest in the Shakeology and recovery drink. Its suppose to help with the soreness. And heaven knows Im sore.
Do you hear that?...... Its my stomach.....im still hungry...................

who wants before pics?

well TOO BAD! for all you people who are wanting me to embarrass myself infront of the World Wide Web I just cant do it. Well not yet at least. I have decided to wait 30 days to post my first before and afters. This way if I fail no one can judge my fat rolls.
So On the 25 of Feb I WILL bare all to you, my faithful followers.

day 3 of 60

Woke up with rocks as calves. ouch. did not want to even walk much less workout.
Slowly made my way down the stairs. Thank goodness my girls are old enough to get ready for school on their own. Ate WW toast and natural Peanutbutter with a half cup of cottage cheese.
could not finish the cottage cheese too much too early.
730 do NOT want to workout, so I play last nights biggest looser for motivation. It works. always does.
8:59 DVD goes in, some how some way my calves loosen up after about 5 minutes of jumping around. Same thing as yesterday 3 rounds of drills each times getting faster. The stretching today felt amazing. I am so sore. I wonder if that recovery drink really works? Then another set of drills.
The workout was 40 minutes of crazyness. my arms are tights still, as well as my back. Not so much my abs where I WOULD really like to be feeling something.
Its been 2 hours since my workout and my arms are still shaking. Dang pushups!! lets see what tomorrow brings???

day 2 of 60

Went to sleep thinking of insanity, woke up thinking of insanity!
Made myself eat a egg and whole wheat english muffin before 7 am. Thats just a little too early to eat, but need to in order for it to digest before my workout.
Was watching the clock move slowly towards 9 am. Popped in the DVD. then stopped it, sudden urge to pee. Started dvd again. warm up fast pace. way faster then any other dvd ive done before. And I HAVE DONE A LOT. then we do the warm up again but faster, then again faster.
lots of well needed stretching. Think the stretching is harder for me then then the jumping around like a mad woman. Then he has us do drills in another set of three rounds, getting faster each time.
By the second set of drills Im needing lots of 5 second breaks. My arms are on FIRE! my breathing is LOUD. Then he finishes with about 3 minutes of punches and upper body twists.Feels like Ive been working out for ever. I look at my heart rate moniter and its only been 40 minutes!
I push myself and felt great, well after I got my breath back and the urge to vomit subsided.
Its been 3 hours since the workout and my arms are tight and my back( you know the bra fat area) is so sore. My inner thighs are throbbing. I think Im gonna love this workout.
